well i used to be on here when it started with evan and chase, and forgot all about that this site also kept going so i figure ill post some progress on my truck on here too! see whatch ya guys think...
 
i traded my 2004 crf 450 for a 92 f150 single cab short bed. 5.0 v8. caged front to back with mild 1 3/4. it has extended beams that are 4.5 wider perside that solo motorsports built, with saw coil overs.it was sitting on 35x12.50r15 bfg ats that definately needed to be upgraded to 37x12.50r17. came with hanneman fiberglass front and back, but the back ones were not mounted yet. it also came with bucket seats that were not mounted yet. thats all i can remember right now. the truck definately needed alot of work....

within a week of having at my house i mounted the bucket seats and mounted the rear glass..

i went to the off road swap meet in march with the intentions of getting some shocks and ended up talking geoff from giant and picked up some wiy links....the kit sat for a long time colecting dust in my garage. then i took it to Pirate Lab and talked to mike about welding them up for me. he recomended to hard mount the links instead of using bushings. so i orderd uniballs and a anti wobble kit from mekinseys. i got them back about a week later. they turned out awsome...

i got a flyer in the mail about 4 wheel parts was having a spring cleaning sale. i had to go. i needed new 33s for my wifes ranger and new 17 inch rims for the f1. got a great deal on both items. the rims arnt what i wanted but they work for now untill i can afford to get what i really want... so the sat for a while then i talked to professional tire in hesperia about some used 37 and he hooked me up with 6. it made all the difference in the world..

i made a bumper for the rear so i can have somthing to hold the tires. also to get nerfed haha. it turned out exactly how i wanted it

i made a light rack that will hold 6 hellas out of 1 1/2. turned out tittes!! after i made it it sat in the shop for months,and colected dust with my links.i just held it up to my truck so i could see what it looks like.

i still needed to fab up some shit for the tires to sit on....so i did! there are some dead tubes but i had to deal with the existing cage. dec or jan hopfully im cutting out the whole cage and going with 2'' dom in the cab and 1 3/4 in the rest of the truck. so it will work for now...

i finally mounted my light rack. looks great...definatly not used to it..

i just bought some rachit straps from lowes for 14 bucks each. i had the 37s on the back but i dont have 17'' rims yet so i got the old 35s on there now.  what eva.... thats all ive done so far. ill post pics when i do more.

I always wondered what happened with the truck. Looks like it came together really well, super clean.

the build is taking forever...i still dont have shocks for the rear.everytime i save for shocks somthing comes up and i got to use the money for somthing else...oh well

ive had the truck for probably a year now.im not sure on the money. its definatly a budget build....
6 used 37x12.50r17 for $250.00 mounted and balanced on my 17s
4 17x9 pro comp alloys on sale for $100.00 bucks a piece i think
GIANT motorsport wiy links and frame hangers for $650.00 at the off road swap meet
extra wide uniballs for links with ant wobble kit was $160.00-$200.00 give or take...
got the links welded for ( A REALLY GOOD PRICE )!!!!!
ratchet staps $14.00 a piece a lowes
tubing
whole saws
75-25 gas for welder
cutting disks...........bla bla bla
 
thers all kinds of other stuff that i cant think of. i wish i could spend more. im getting ready to drop my tranny and rebuild it, and ad a art carr shift kit.me and my buddy are gonna do it ourselfs to save money.also im gonna order 2 2.5 FOA coilovers in the next month. finally gonna have shocks. once i get the tranny done and shocks mounted, it will be the first time that the truck will be actually romped on. EXCITED!!!!!!!
