Just bought Ray Ray's old trailing arms from his ranger. I might be linking it sooner than I thought. I'm still trying to decide if I should try and finish the truggy as it sits (without redoing the whole chassis) or just start plundering it for parts. Opinions?

Took the front end back off to disassemble and get it ready for powdercoating this week. Snapped a pic of the front end at full droop. Enjoy.

for your spindle did you bolt in the 4x4 explorer snout, or did you press it in.   and where did you buy them?

They were bolted and welded in to a thick plate. I bought the whole front hub assembly from a junkyard for I think $200. I had to call around a few places, had a little trouble finding them. I probably should've just gone to the 4x4 Bronco hubs as they are easier and cheaper to find. I didn't really want to buy new wheels though. Now that everything is powdercoated, I'll try to take some shots before putting it all back on.

Drove it home yesterday from the shop. Its the first time its been driven more than 20 ft since the new front end. Was fun to say the least. It still has no windows or mirrors, no hood, mismatched paint, no shocks in the rear, and random odd noises... people were staring to say the least. But it made it, and thats what counts! Here are some shots from at the shop (Cool Master) before I drove it.

Well, I've decided to just go for it, and I'm caging the truck and doing the rear end. I'm still debating on whether I'm going to link it now or wait a little while. I'm buying a house very soon and need to be saving money.

Liking the cage, saw some more pics of it on the DB myspace. When are you going to link it?
