Muzzle Kart
« on: December 01, 2007, 02:47:22 AM »
The Plan: 185 Motor into a custom built chassis fitted with trophy kart glass, mega-wide quad swing-arm and center mount a-arms. Keep it on a budget but rip $h1t up.

Onto the pictures..

Build me one?!

One of these beasts would be more practical for me I think, rather than thrashing my daily drivers all the time....woohoo!!

5 grand!!  damn....that's way too much.  Someday I hope to build myself a 2 seater truggy or something to roam the mountains with.   All I really need now is a tube bender and a small mountain of tube and sheet metal to practice with.  =P

What does that shit cost anyway?  And how much would I spend on all the hardware...like engine...suspension...steering...brakes...?  Assuming I built a small-ish and simple, 2wd thing with a small VW motor or something.  I have no freaking idea where to even begin building anything, lolz...but I eventually want to give it a shot.  I think the whole process would be cool...and the satisfaction of building it myself would be immense.

yeah, a large portion of the cost is the fiberglass body and smaller accessories. the basic components would probably run you around $1,500-2,500
