Red Bull KTM factory riders fine tune skills at pre season internationals
16 March 2010, 5:12 am

    From  KTM

Red  Bull KTM factory riders Max Nagl, Marvin Musquin, Jeffery Herlings and Steffi  Laier were all on their bikes and testing themselves against the opposition  this past weekend as they make the final preparation for the launch of their  title bids in 2010.

Reigning  MX2 world champion Marvin Musquin was on top of the podium at the second round  of the French National Championships at Pernes les Fontaines after picking up  63 points for his 3-4-1 place efforts, enough to put him in third place overall  in the championship behind Steven Frossard and Jeremy van Horebeek. Musquin did  not compete in the opening round.

MX1 Vice  world champion Max Nagl was riding orange in Germany's Frankenbach and finished  second in both open category races for 44 points and second place behind Ken  Roczen. And also in Frankenbach, Red Bull KTM's own Steffi Laier pitted herself  against the men and rode in the Class 2 events to a highly creditable  thirteenth and eighth place for overall tenth position, underlining her courage  and determination on the track.

Also  hitting the track, this time at the Open Dutch Championships in Mill, the youngest  member of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, Jeffery Herlings, who is just  15 years old, finished third overall with 42 points behind Gautier Paulin of  France and Joel Roelants of the JM KTM Junior Racing Team.

Pre season  races are the perfect opportunity for the Red Bull KTM riders to fine-tune  their skills before the opening GP in Bulgaria in the first weekend of April.
