oh ok cuz i was messin w my dash and for the longest time i thought the guage was blown but it started movin on it own but it wont do it normally for speed

dang! yeah definitely brace those frame rails if you haven't already. most speedo shops will be able to take care of your speedo problems.

sounds like you may need to lube the speedometer cable? I know in older toyota pickups, itll get gummed up and stop working/work intermittenly
